What's happening Friday?

In case you haven’t heard, tomorrow night we will premiere the teaser trailer for Hellphone.

Here are details of the event, from the organizer’s pen:

I wanted to take this time to invite all of you to a special, midnight screening on Friday, October 30 of the Peter Jackson film “Dead Alive.” This manic, horror comedy is from the same guy who made the “Lord of the Rings” trilogy as well as “King Kong,” and proves just how… diverse – and brilliant – the Kiwi director’s career truly is.

Not only that, but we’ll be hosting a $100 grand prize costume contest and the world premiere of the “Hellphone” teaser trailer, the new film by TIFN member Jason Peirce and TIFN co-moderator Stephen van Vuueren. So wear a costume, cheer on two local filmmakers, and join the best Halloween celebration in town.

Tickets are only $5, making this the cheapest late-night Halloween get-together in town. And that weren’t crazy enough, each ticket includes a FREE BEER!
