Tomorrow I am heading out with Neb, a local sound guru, to record some foley for the movie.
That’s the term used for sound effects that are created by a person/object on screen, but recorded separately.
Footsteps is a good example. It’s rare that a footstep you hear in a movie was actually recorded on set.
We have lots to record, and are jumping in tomorrow. I have fun doing this, so it ought to be a good day!
