Hellphone Now Casting Principals – 6/27 & 6/29
Hellphone is a micro-budget horror action film with comic elements using a innovative business model to insure the film gets made, cast and crew gets compensated and the film has excellent prospects of profitability that everyone shares in.
The film is being produced by talented, experienced and knowledgeable filmmakers – more here. Initial fund-raising is complete and Hellphone is in full preproduction.
Auditions are now set for Saturday, June 27th and Monday, June 29th, 9am to 4pm in downtown Greensboro, NC. Please read ALL the information below especially the breakdowns of roles. Please send in head-shot, resume and especially reels or video clips of work on camera in narrative projects.

- Principle Roles include weekly stipend of $500 plus deferred salary plus gross percentage point(s) of film profits.
- Two week shoot in last half of August in Triad area. Quality craft service provided.

BREAKDOWNS
Alex: Female, 20s-30s
Deputy Sheriff of the town. Fit, strong and persistent. Needs to be able to fight and win against men. Was engaged to Graham but they broke up after her mother died. Her father (the Sheriff) took his wife’s death hard and does not help with law enforcement, leaving Alex to take care of the town. She is currently dating Bill, the coroner, though more out of convenience than anything else.
Graham: Male, 20s-30s
Computer tech. Nerdy but attractive. Went to the big city after he and Alex broke up. Just returned to try to win her back. He has to earn back her trust and show her that he can be responsible. His biggest obstacle is his mouth.
Bill: Male, 20s-30s
Town coroner. Thinks he’s suave and impressive, but isn’t. Fancies himself a criminologist or CSI expert. Is in love with Alex despite the fact that she doesn’t love him back.
Sheriff Casey: Male, 50s-60s
Rugged, outdoorsy looking. Town Sheriff and father of Alex. In the dumps since his wife died. Drinks too much and lets Alex run the Sheriff’s office. Prone to sobbing fits, yet can still command respect and attention when he wants to.
