 We have started a partnership with Amazon and they are now the exclusive distributor of Hellphone. 

This means that Hellphone will come up in Amazon searches, and people can get free shipping and all other Amazon perks. Most importantly, it means I no longer have to be a shipping company.

Writer-director-producer-editor Jason Marc Pierce will show clips and behind-the-scenes videos and talk about the process, trials, triumphs and motivations behind his award-winning feature film Hellphone. The discussion will be geared toward helping filmmakers make their own features, but also will cover amusing anecdotes and whatever else people want to ask.

You don’t need to have seen the movie (although it would help) to get something from this.

On Saturday, we were given the “Best Visual Effects” award, which is a true testament to the hard work put in by Stephen van Vuuren and Jonathan Preston (and a legion of minions).

Stars Nathan Moore and Phillip Ward with writer-director Jason Marc Pierce at the festival.

Thank you again to everyone who chipped in to get me out to the West Coast for the festival!

We weren’t sure what the reaction would be to having a screening in the Madison/Mayodan area, but it’s overwhelming.
As a result, we’ve added a second screening of Hellphone – the same night:

Friday, February 25
9:30pm
McMichael High School

As with the 7:30 show, seating is limited and tickets are needed to get in.
TICKETS ARE FREE.
They will be available STARTING TOMORROW (Tuesday, February 22) at various locations in the area, including Sunrise Convenience Store, Star Pizza,
The Lunch Box and the Chamber of Commerce.

There will probably be tickets still available at the door on Friday as well.

We are screening at the Blue Sky Film Festival in Chapel Hill on February 5. This festival is shaping up to be full of very good and interesting movies, with some great workshops, too.

We are working on a screening in February in Madison. That’s right – Madison. Stay tuned!

One of our leads, Nathan Moore, was on “Million Dollar Money Drop” last night on Fox! Very exciting.

Hellphone was submitted to the Dead by Dawn horror fest in Edinburgh, Scotland. Hopefully we’ll screen there!

The DVD is selling at our online store for $12.49. Get yours today!

Finally, one of our talented post fx workers is making a short film and is trying to raise money. Evan did some amazing work for us on short notice while barely knowing who we are. The films he’s made that I’ve seen are very good, so this one should be also. Donate if you feel the urge!
